Communications Department

Syracuse Merit Electric’s Communications Department provides professional installation of inter-building backbone fiber and copper, intrabuilding backbone fiber and copper, as well as horizontal wiring.  We can also provide for splicing high pair count copper exchange and riser cables, and fusion splicing for fiber optic cable.  Regularly performed are terminations and testing for all copper, including Level-6, tested to 100MHz, multimode fiber and single mode fiber.

Syracuse Merit’s Communications Department maintains numerous data certifications for all systems, utilizing copper, fiber, wireless and other media.
